Privacy Policy
Mania is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our users while providing the highest possible quality of service. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998) and according to the Which? Web Trader Code of Practice. We collect information about you to process you order more effectively, and to provide you with the best possible service.

Information collected
We collect the information you supply to us through enquiry and order forms, and every time you e-mail us. We also collect information automatically about your visit to our site. The information obtained in this way, which includes demographic data and browsing patterns, is only used in aggregate form, and as such cannot be used to identify you. This aggregate information is used to build up marketing profiles which aid strategic development and audit usage of the site.
Use of personal information
We process personal information collected via Mania for the purposes of:
1. Providing the best possible service
2. Processing any orders you may have made
3. Conducting market research surveys
4. Running competitions
5. Providing you with information about products and services we offer.
If you do not wish to receive information about our products or services, or the products and services offered jointly with or on behalf of other organisations, please state this on the order form. We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent.
Disclosures
We will not pass your information to any third parties. The type of information we will collect about you includes:your name, address, phone number, E-mail address and credit/debit card details. We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent.
The information we hold will be accurate and up to date.You can check the information that we hold about you by e-mailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.
The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law and the Which? Web Trader Code. If we intend to transfer your information outside the EEA (European Economic Area) we will always obtain your consent first.
We may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings

We use the shopping cart method of ordering. Click on the "Order!" button next to the item you want to buy, click on "checkout", fill out the delivery and payment details and your products will be dispatched as soon as possible. For further information please click on the following.

Credit Card Security
Despite bad press and horror stories regarding the use of credit cards over the net, we can assure you of the following:-
At no time are your credit card details held on the site in a readable format. We use the Americart Shopping Cart Service which holds a Verisign Secure Server Authenticity Certificate.

Complaints Procedure & Customer Services
In the unlikely event that you have a complaint concerning an order through Mania:-
Contact us either by e-mail at peter@mania.net or by telephone on (0) 20 7402 9111. We will acknowledge receipt of your email within 5 working days. Your complaint will be personally dealt with by a senior manager at Mania and you will be kept informed during all stages of the complaints procedure. If you do not feel that your complaint has been dealt with satisfactorily then it may be persued through the Which? web trader scheme - details of which may be found here.
Please note that the customer service telephone line is manned from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. Costs of these calls are at the normal tariff. All complaints will be dealt with as effectively as possible, and will remain confidential.
Finding a product
You can find the product you're looking for in a number of different ways.
1. Browse the different product categories listed in the panel on the right.
2. You can enter the name of the item you want in the 'Shopmania' area of the homepage and click on 'Go'. A list of products matching the search criteria will be displayed which you can then add to your shopping basket by clicking on the corresponding 'Order' button.
If you still can't find what you're looking for then why not E-mail us with the product and we will contact you with a price.
No matter where you are in the site you can get back to the main page by clicking on the 'Homepage' link in the panel on the right.
Ordering an item
Once you have found the product you were looking for just click on the "Order!" button by the product description. On some of the special offer pages there is a drop-down quantity list by each product. This gives you the option to order multiple quantities of several items at once.
Once you have chosen the quantity of the product(s) you want, click on the "Order!" button at the top or bottom of the page to be taken to the shopping basket where you will be given the option to either complete your order or continue shopping.
Completing you order
Once you have selected the items you require and have clicked on the "Checkout Now!" button in the shopping basket section you will be asked about how you want your order delivered to you. You then have the option of choosing how you want to pay.
The total cost of your order inclusive of shipping charges is now displayed and a form which you need to fill in to tell us where to deliver your goods. Make sure you fill in all the fields including your email address as this is used to send you your order confirmation. You can also enter any special delivery instructions here such as - "deliver to number 4" or "beware of the dog!". Clicking on the 'Submit Secure Order' button will submit your order.
If you selected 'Order by Credit Card using FAX' then you will be taken to a page where you can fill in all of your details. When you have done so, click on 'Submit Secure Order' which will return a page that you can print and fax to us on (0) 20 7723 3064, or telephone us on (0) 20 7402 9111, ask for Peter Sullivan and give us your credit card details over the phone.
You can also fill in your credit card details on the fax form and post it to us at 34 Salisbury Street, London, NW8 8QE, or even, post the form to us at the above address including a cheque payable to Mania Entertainment Ltd. for the full amount.
Either way as soon as we have received payment we can process you order.
Returns
In the event of any fault with any product bought from Mania, we would be only too happy to replace the defective item at no extra cost. However in addition, we would like all our customers to be informed that Mania naturally respects their consumer statutory rights with regards to
refunds on faulty items.
Delivery
Subject to stock, goods can be delivered within 4 working days. However, in the event of the item being out of stock, delivery is normally within 30 days. Should the item be deleted we would notify you at the earliest possible opportunity. In the event of further delay, we are happy to offer our customers a refund.
Cancellations
The consumer has the right to cancel the contract within 7 working days without reason. Should the customer still receive their order subsequent to their cancellation, the product should be returned in an un-opened and un-used condition.
Should you decide to cancel the order, your money will be returned within 30 days. You may have to pay the cost of returning the goods.

Credit Notes
Should the customer wish to return goods after the initial 7 day cancellation period we will offer the customer a credit note to be used for the purchase of any other Mania product.
